For us, sustainability does not stop at carefully selecting the raw materials for our products. We go much further.

The best waste is that which is not created in the first place. Wherever it is possible to use existing plastic waste, we use recycled material for our packaging. For many years now, we have been using bottles and jars made from 100% recycled PET. As of 2019, all of our 250ml, 500ml and 1600ml bottles are also made from 100% recycled plastic. In 2023 alone, Fibertec was able to save a calculated 23.547 kilograms of resources and an additional 2.730 kilograms of greenhouse gases by recycling the registered materials.

In addition, we save further raw materials: Our strongest detergents and impregnating agents are available in environmentally friendly refill bags. All Fibertec bottles are of such high quality that they can be easily refilled and used several times. The refill packs save 83% packaging waste compared to the pump spray bottle. Our spray cans are also anything but standard. An elaborate 2-chamber design gives our spray cans proper pressure. Where others pollute the environment with propellants, our cans spray with compressed air - without any propellants at all. The impregnating agent in our cans is in a closed bag inside the can. Around the bag there is compressed air, which keeps the bag constantly under pressure. When the nozzle is actuated, the impregnating agent is sprayed in a finely atomized form. With this system, Fibertec spray cans even spray upside down.

Fibertec is the first care product manufacturer in the outdoor industry that has also designed its packaging sustainably for many years.
